They may be "happy," but I did not find them friendly or welcoming when I sent them an inquiry about toileting facilities for service animals. I just got the brush-off. I guess Trilby was right. It doesn't sound like Disneyland is a good choice for people with disabilities using service animals. Whether or not they have adequate toileting facilities is no longer the central issue to my way of thinking.
IMO any customer service representative should have been able to answer this simple question. If not, then do they actually train their employees in disability issues at all? If a customer services representative cannot answer such a basic question, what chance has a PWD of getting help when there? Are we to run back to the "Kennel Club" every time we have a question or issue?
I don't think they understand the difference between a pet and a service animal either.
Update: Shidash made a call to their Kennel Club since I couldn't and they didn't know the answer either. They suggested looking for some sort of pamphlet.
It pays to plan ahead. Can you imagine what a horrible vacation it would be to spend a lot of money and precious vacation days to go on a dream vacation and find out you can't even enjoy the facilities because they aren't interested in educating their staff about dealing with people with disabilities?
Update: Now they're saying they prefer we use the Kennel Club area but can use any grassy area. I'm still concerned that they found this question so difficult to answer. Six Flags' Magic Mountain, and even Disney World were much more forthcoming with information and made it clear people with disabilities, with or without service animals, were welcome and policies were in place to accommodate them.

Where are the approved toileting areas for service animals at
Disneyland?
Is there any other information regarding service animals at Disneyland
available? I couldn't find it on the Disneyland site, though I did
find it on the Disney World site.

I finally got this response. I still don't get why I couldn't get that answer from the start and was told to call the Kennel Club instead.

Dear Kirsten,
Thank you for your e-mail to the DISNEYLAND® Resort.
Generally, we prefer the Guest to use our Kennel at the Main Entrance to
Disneyland Park for the toilet facility, however, any fenced in grassy
area in our Parks may be used.
Again, thank you for taking the time to write. We hope you will have the
opportunity to visit the DISNEYLAND® Resort soon and trust your visit
will be pleasant in all regards.
Sincerely,

Um. If I could use a phone, I would have done. I can't. Does this
mean I can't get an answer to my question?
